Sen. Richard Blumenthal says there is strong support among Connecticut resident for President Joe Biden’s vaccine mandates.
Blumenthal says when he travels the states, he speaks with many people who agree with Biden’s new federal vaccine requirements affecting as many as 100 million citizens in the United States.
“The more people vaccinated, the safer we will all be because these mutating viruses will eventually create one that successfully residents the virus and then we’ll be back potentially in a lockdown mode,” Blumenthal says. “So, I’m hearing a lot of employers, businesses, manufacturers saying, these mandates may be a good thing from the federal government.
The senator says the mandates are meant to combat the surging delta variant.
