A Flatbush Avenue business is offering a premium shopping experience. The business owner is offering customers a bowl of cereal or a snack while they shop at his retail store.
An elevated shopping experience is exactly what Ronnie Fieg had in mind before he renovated his Brooklyn shop, called Kith.
Fieg says customers can shop for apparel and don't have to exit the shop to find something to eat.
He boasts about the cereal bar the shop offers, which he says is the first in New York City.
Fieg says he was obsessed with the treat at a young age, but was never allowed to eat it at home. He says that deprivation motivated him to sell them at the shop.
He offers 24 types of cereals with topping like brownie bites, crushed Oreos and five different kinds of milk.
Fieg's plan seems to be working because customers say they've notice the change in services. They say shopping at the shop feels like an intimate experience.
Fieg also offers an express window on Flatbush Avenue where people can order a commuter cereal bowl to-go.
