Despite the rainy weather, hundreds of people flocked to Prospect Park Saturday for Michael Jackson's birthday party that was organized by filmmaker Spike Lee.
The party is being held on what would have been the late pop star's 51st birthday.
Organizers of the event expect thousands to gather on a 15-acre lawn in Prospect Park. The party is expected to end at 5 p.m.
In 1996, Lee directed two music videos for Jackson's song, "They Don't Care About Us."
