Starbucks has teamed up with other organizations to support the annual Food for the Soul Thanksgiving event, where people from local shelters and halfway homes are served Thanksgiving favorites.
It would not have been possible without Starbucks manager Nicole Briggs and her two friends. They have been giving back to the community for the past five years by hosting different events around Brooklyn. Their goal is to give back to the communities they grew up in.
They plan to hold a community coat drive in the upcoming year, and they say anyone is welcome to volunteer.
