Light snow will develop overnight into Wednesday morning before mixing with rain, according to News 12 Meteorologist Steve Teeling.
Teeling says 1-3 inches of snow is likely, with most accumulations on colder surfaces. Some roads will get slush-covered, especially side roads.
The end of the week will feature milder and dry weather with more rain coming in on Saturday. The rain may end as some wet snow Saturday evening with windy and much colder Sunday.
OVERNIGHT: Becoming cloudy with snow developing around 7 a.m. Low of 32.
WEDNESDAY: Cloudy with wet snow, mixing with some rain on the shoreline. High of 37.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and milder. High of 48.
FRIDAY: Partly sunny. High of 49.
SATURDAY: Rain likely, possibly ending as wet snow early Saturday night. High of 50.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny, windy and cold. High of 39.
