News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Allan Nosoff says stormy weather arrives tomorrow morning and could make multiple appearances through Thursday.
NEXT: Scattered strong to severe thundershowers move in Wednesday morning 5 a.m. - 9 a.m. Sky conditions improve by the afternoon with warm sunshine and humid conditions. Thursday will be the wettest day this week with rain all day. Rain will be heavy at times with the chance of thunderstorms.
Check the Brooklyn forecast below:
TONIGHT: Becoming mostly cloudy. Warmer and humid. Lows only down to 62. An isolated shower possible by 5AM.
TOMORROW - STORM WATCH AM: A line of strong-to-severe thunderstorms expected between 5 and 8AM. Clears out by 9AM. Not everyone will see the direct t-storm hit, but most of us are expected to see at least a quick-hitting downpour. Then becoming sunny with only high-thin clouds by noon. Becoming hot with highs up to 85 away from the water. There will be a sharp contrast in temperatures from low 70s at the water to 85+ for most-inland spots of both boroughs. Partly cloudy at night with lows down to 61.
THURSDAY - STORM WATCH PM: A cloudy start with showers and a few downpours likely after noon. Luckily the severe storm threat has decreased, and if this trend continues, then we will back off of Storm Watch and proceed with just yellow on the 10-day. Highs only near 66 early, falling to near-60 once rain begins. Lows near 53.
FRIDAY: On-and-off showers continue. Raw and chilly. Highs struggle to even get to 59. Lows near 50.
SATURDAY: "Nicer" half of the weekend, but cool and mostly cloudy. Highs near 65. Lows near 53. SUNDAY - YELLOW HIGHLIGHT: Mother's Day could feature a few showers, especially for the second half of the day. While it is not expected to be heavy, consider moving any outdoor plans inside. Highs near 65. Lows around 57. EARLY NEXT WEEK: Another nice start to the workweek with sunshine and 70s. Lows in the mid 50s.
