A 28-year-old man died after being shot in East New York Sunday.
Police say a 911 call was made at 10:14 a.m. First responders arrived on the scene at 315 Van Siclen Ave. to find Mitchell with a gunshot wound to the torso.
Mitchell was brought to Brookdale Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The suspect is said to have taken off on foot toward Pitkin Avenue. He has been described as a black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and carrying a black bag.
