Police are looking for whoever scrawled an anti-Semitic message on a Williamsburg building.
A swastika was scrawled in pink chalk on a residential building on Middleton Street, along with a message that read, "[expletives] who litter."
Police believe it was written sometime between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. Friday. Someone in the building spotted it as he returned home.
The incident wasn't reported until Sunday because of the Shabbat. The message has since been cleaned off.
No one wanted to speak on camera, but residents say it's a deeply personal attack, especially because it the swastika was drawn on a Jewish building in a Jewish neighborhood.
Police say that the Hate Crime Unit has been notified.
