Police are investigating a case of swastikas that were spray-painted in Brooklyn Heights.
Officials say the anti-Semitic markings were found at the B'nai Avraham and Brooklyn Heights synagogues on Remsen Avenue. Three other buildings and several cars were also defaced in the area.
Rabbi Aaron Raskin, of Congregation B'nai Avraham, says his synagogue would nurture, not neglect, the people responsible for the crime.
Police are investigating the incident as a hate crime. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
