Teen punched, slashed in Sheepshead Bay

The teen was taken to Mount Sinai-Brooklyn and is expected to be okay.

A 14-year-old boy was punched and slashed in Sheepshead Bay last week.

Police say the incident happened just before 6 p.m. in front of 2931 Ave X. The teen was approached by someone who asked him a question before punching him multiple times. Then, the person him in the arm, causing a laceration, before running away on Avenue X.

The teen was taken to Mount Sinai-Brooklyn and is expected to be OK.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
