Processions in observance of Good Friday are taking place all across the globe, including on the Brooklyn Bridge.
The Catholic Lay Movement Communion and Liberation lead the Way of the Cross Procession from Brooklyn to Manhattan to honor Jesus for Good Friday.
Italy native Alberto Pangrazzi says that in his hometown of Trento, Italy, Good Friday usually looks different – but that there’s nowhere he’d rather celebrate than on the Brooklyn Bridge.
"It's very impactful. You know on the bridge, it’s always full of people, not only faithful people, but people who are there with their families. They always look to us, look to the cross, some of them pray,” said Pangrazzi.
