A threatening letter was reportedly found at the murder scene of a pregnant bride-to-be in Brownsville.
According to the New York Post, police discovered a disturbing note under the body of Vindalee Smith, who was found dead in her home Saturday morning. The mother of four was eight months pregnant and set to be married the next day.
Published reports say the note states that more pregnant women would die unless the Washington, D.C. sniper was released from prison. Investigators believe the reference to the sniper is a ruse.
Authorities have questioned Smith's fiancé, but he has not been named as a suspect.
