Some residents celebrated gay pride at Greenwood Cemetery Sunday.
History buff Phil Desiere lead a unique tour of the tombstones of LGBT advocates.
"We highlight the gay men and lesbians who are buried here at Greenwood," he said. "It is gay pride day and it's a wonderful way to celebrate the accomplishments of gay men and lesbians who have contributed so mightily to America."
The tour included the gravesite of Leonard Bernstein, Louis Moreau Gotschauk, Violet Oakley and Emma Stebbins and Fred Ebb.
Another tour will is scheduled for the fall.
