A new child development center is coming to William Paterson University.
The school announced the state-of-the-art facility will open in September for parents who work at the school and to the public.
The center offers one toddler class, three pre-school classes and one kindergarten class all taught by certified teachers and administrators.
"It is a curriculum based on the New Jersey preschool standards,” said Amy Ginsberg, Dean of College Education at William Paterson University. “So it's all about children's learning experiences, and children and teachers constructing children's learning experiences so there are lots of natural materials, lots of places for kids to come to life, both in the internal setting of the child development center as well as outside in our natural play areas."
The center will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. They will also offer before-care starting at 7:30 a.m. and aftercare through 5 p.m.
