Students in Bed-Stuy got a bit of good news Friday when it was announced that three schools in the area were removed from the "persistently dangerous" list.
The state Education Department removed P.S. 25, P.S. 368 and P.S. 35 from the list. P.S. 35 was also removed from the list of underperforming schools. At that school, the percentage of middle school students who passed state math and reading tests doubled in the past few years.
Meanwhile, Brooklyn schools P.S. 231 and P.S. 22 were added to the dangerous list.
