Shots rang out in Bed-Stuy early Wednesday, leading to a foot chase and three arrests.
Authorities say that patrol cops heard gunshots near the Sumner Houses on Myrtle Avenue at around 1 a.m. and chased three men seen running from the scene.
The officers caught up with two of the suspects, and the third was caught by responding units nearby. Police say they also recovered a loaded weapon that was thrown to the ground during the incident, along with three shell casings and a live round.
The men, identified as 19-year-old Bernard Bellony, 23-year-old Ruben Pabon and 25-year-old Sylvester Roberts, are facing a number of charges, including resisting arrest. Bellony is also charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
