A man is in serious condition after being shot six times in Brownsville Wednesday.
The shooting happened just after 12 a.m. at the intersection of Thomas S. Boyland and Dean streets near the Saratoga ballfield.
Police say they are searching for at least one gunman who fled the scene in a gray-colored car.
The 35-year-old victim was discovered inside the passenger seat of a crashed car with six gunshot wounds to his chest. 
Police say it is not yet clear what happened leading up to the shooting or the crash.
He was transported to Brookdale Hospital in serious condition.
