A 27-year-old alleged thief has been nabbed by police after possibly robbing more than 100 homes.
Police say Rami Abuziad, of Bay Ridge, confessed to going on a one-man robbery spree. According to police, Abuziad has been connected to 36 robberies and could be responsible for many more. Police say Abuziad was caught at a home near 5th Avenue and 80th Street.
Authorities searched Abuziad?s home on Wednesday and say they found many stolen items, including 135 watches, 23 laptops, 28 cell phones, jewelry, wallets, guns and electronics. Additional items were allegedly found in a garbage can on 79th Street, where police say Abuziad stashed goods between robberies.
