A bus driver has been awarded the Sloan Public Service Award by the city for the public service he's provided for more than 20 years as a driver on the B25 line.
Jefrick Dean, of Bed-Stuy, has been driving B25 buses for 22 years and says he always makes sure his riders get courtesy and assistance to ensure their ride is a comfortable one. His coworkers say he's courteous, respectful and an example of what the MTA wants from its drivers.
Dean and five other recipients of the Sloan Award also each received a check for $10,000.
