A Bedford-Stuyvesant church's food pantry has been filling an overwhelming need in the community.
The New Open Door Church of God In Christ serves hundreds every Saturday.
The church has been helping the less fortunate for 30 years. The pantry provides up to 600 people with food a day.
Many visit the food pantry every week to get fresh vegetables, bread, dairy, frozen meat and juice.
Food suppliers like City Harvest help to provide the stock.
The church also hands out clothing and provides outreach to young offenders.
