Belleville students will attend virtual classes today and tomorrow as cleanup efforts continue at the site of the massive warehouse fire.
Town officials say overnight rain helped firefighters as crews continue to wet down stubborn, hard‑to‑reach hot spots that remain smoldering.

The superintendent says several services are in place to help the impacted families.
Chromebook pickups will take place at each individual school from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and again from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
School 9 Chromebook pickups will take place at the Board of Education Office.
Districtwide Grab & Go Meals will be available at Belleville High School from 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at Door 14.
Schools have been closed since Monday, ever since a fire sparked inside a mattress warehouse on Sunday.
Mayor Michael Melham says that Washington Avenue is now completely open after it was closed while crews worked to put out the fire. The mayor says demolition of the warehouse has begun and will remain ongoing.
A command post hotline has been set up for impacted residents who need to be escorted to and from the affected area. Residents who need assistance can call 771-202-3790.
Some residents are still living without power or other utilities. Others whose homes were filled with smoke are receiving assistance from the town and the American Red Cross.
Officials say residents in need of help can report to the Belleville Friendly House, located at 21 Frederick Street.
Roadways affected by the fire are reopening. Washington Avenue, also known as Route 7, has fully reopened to traffic.
