A Borough Park father pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges that he sexually abused a boy from his neighborhood.
Prosecutors say Moshe Spitzer is accused of sexually assaulting a Borough Park boy for at least four years. The district attorney's office says Spitzer abused the victim beginning in 2004. Spitzer faces numerous sexual abuse charges for allegedly assaulting the boy in many different locations, including his home, office, car and hotels.
The district attorney says the victim, who is now a teenager, eventually told the principal at his school about the alleged abuse. Spitzer's attorney, Israel Fried, says his client is innocent and the burden is on the prosecution to prove him otherwise.
Fried says Spitzer was released on $50,000 bail.
