With the war in Iraq now officially over, Brooklyn residents are at odds over whether or not to hold a homecoming parade for the nation's troops. World War II veteran Ralph Mottola says he knows what it feels like to survive a war, and that today's soldiers should be properly honored. "If they want a parade, by all means we should give them a parade and not wait six or seven years like the Vietnam vets," Mottola says. Officials in New York City and Washington have said that they want to host a national celebration, but some local residents say the war in Afghanistan needs to finish first.
