A boom truck flipped over as it was making deliveries in the Flatbush area, seriously injuring two people.
According to NYC’s Department of Buildings, the truck’s extended boom hit a parked van and impacted a parapet wall and roof at a building on Glenwood Road.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation, but DOB has issued three violations to New Castle Building Projects, the owners of the boom truck.
The violations include unsafe hoisting, using an unlicensed operator and failure to have certified riggers.
Recovery options will begin on Wednesday.
