Bridgeport PD: Husky puppy taken during violent armed robbery found
News 12 reported that a Norwalk man was pistol-whipped on Aug. 17 near Stratford Avenue and Hollister Street. The man’s 12-week-old red and tan male husky puppy was taken during the incident.

Police say the dog was found on a porch on Carroll Court by a News 12 viewer who saw the report on Friday night’s newscast.
Police say the suspects who took the dog initially tried to steal the victim's car but couldn’t start it.
Instead, the suspects made off with the victim’s cellphones, money, and puppy. The dog will be reunited with his owner.
