Bronx weekend travel advisory for August 10
If you are planning to travel this weekend, please note the following closures and changes.
Summer Walks will take place in The Bronx from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. There will only be one event on Louis Nine Boulevard in Morrisania. The closure will be between Southern Boulevard and Intervale Avenue.
Expect a closure in Melrose on Cauldwell Avenue between 156th and 157th streets from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. You can use Trinity or Eagle avenues, instead.
There will also be a closure on Webb Avenue in Kingsbridge Heights between West 190th Street and Kingsbridge Avenue from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Please note changes on the E, F, G, N, Q and R trains. Starting this evening until Monday morning, the uptown D train will run express from 145th Street to Tremont Avenue, and will also skip the 182nd, 183rd Street station.
