2h agoThis weekend Brooklyn residents will have a chance to turn in guns, no questions asked, and get up to $500.
On Saturday, the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office is hosting a gun buyback event to get firearms off the streets and make the city safer.
In exchange for guns, residents will get a prepaid bank card. The highest offer goes for operable handguns and assault rifles.
The event will be held at Cornerstone Baptist Church on Madison Street Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
All transactions will be anonymous.
