A Brooklyn girl performed the voice for a character in "The Peanuts Movie," the latest film featuring the Charlie Brown gang.
Anastasia Bredikhina, a seventh-grader at Mark Twain Junior High School in Coney Island voiced Patty, a blonde-haired member of the Peanuts crew.
In the movie, Charlie Brown tries to impress the new girl in town. The whole gang is featured in the movie, including Linus, Sally and of course, Patty.
Anastasia is a drama student and had already performed in several school and independent productions before auditioning for the role last year.
Other students have gone on from the school to appear in Hollywood movies. Jared Reilly, another former Mark Twain student, appeared in the Adam Sandler movie "Pixels" last year.
Anastasia's classmates say they can't believe her success.
