Deck repairs on the Route 37 westbound Tunney Bridge in Toms River is underway, and lanes will be closed Monday through Thursday of every week until the end of October. 
The repair will affect traffic coming out of Seaside Heights into Toms River.
One lane is scheduled to be closed. In addition, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day, a second lane will be closed. At least one lane will be maintained at all times.
The adjacent Route 37 eastbound Mathis Bridge will not be affected.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of October and is part of a $9.6 million statewide Drawbridge Preventative Maintenance Contract.
