Traffic changes are on the way to slow down speeding cars along Broadway in Riverdale.

Local community board members met with transportation officials Tuesday night to discuss details of the plan, which comes in the wake of several accidents, including a crash that killed one woman two years ago.

The Department of Transportation (DOT) says it will be making separate parking lanes and narrowing traffic lanes in both directions. The plan is scheduled to take effect by November.
