A busy Hunts Point intersection has drivers and pedestrians demanding the Department of Transportation install a turn signal light.
Drivers complain the intersection of Bruckner Boulevard and Hunts Point Avenue is dangerous, especially during rush hour. A motorist described the area as "driving through hell." Drivers say it's almost impossible to make a left turn at the intersection because traffic is so heavy.
Pedestrians add that it's also difficult for them to cross the street because cars are often zooming through.
The DOT performed a site survey in December and determined the traffic did not warrant a turn signal light.
