Residents in Brooklyn?s DUMBO neighborhood celebrated Independence Day with food, fun and dancing at an outdoor block party. The DUMBO Improvement District hosted the family event at the Pearl Street Triangle. Residents feasted on hot dogs and rummaged through vintage clothing at the event. A DJ was on hand to get the crowd dancing. Young Brooklyn kids enjoyed pony rides, face painting and bouncy castles. One resident and business owner says she headed to the fair to check out all the people celebrating the holiday in her neighborhood.
