A woman in East Flatbush is being treated for a gunshot wound to the chest after police say a bullet flew through her window around 11:30 p.m. last night.

Police say she was sitting in her kitchen on the second floor of 369 Linden Blvd., right on corner of East 34th Street, when she heard gun shots. She told police the next thing she knew, she was struck by a bullet to the chest.

Police officials say the victim is a 57-year-old woman.

She was rushed to the hospital last night, and this morning she is in stable condition.

Police say she was not the intended target, and they are still looking for who may be responsible for the crime.
