Family of woman killed at vigil last month fights for justice in her death

The family of a Far Rockaway woman killed last month is seeking justice in the case.
The family of Shalimar Burkett says she was the kind of person who could light up a room.
The mother of two was at a vigil in Crown Heights on May 17 for her friend Miles Bobbsemple when two men jumped out of the car and fired shots - killing the 32-year-old.
Her father has now lost two children to gun violence. His son Neyon Hamilton was fatally shot in July of 2018.
The NYPD is asking for the public's help with this case and says it is working "vigorously" to bring justice.
Burkett's family is looking after her two sons.
