FDNY extinguishes fire at Bethel of the Nazarene Church in Bed-Stuy

Multiple fire engines were able to knock down the fire within the hour, according to FDNY officials.

Fire officials were called to Bethel of the Nazarene Church in Bed-Stuy just before 3 p.m. for reports of a fire on the second floor of the building.
Multiple fire engines were able to knock down the fire within the hour, according to FDNY officials. It was not immediately clear what caused the fire. No injuries were reported.
The damage was limited to the inside of the structure, including the ceiling of the main room of the building.
Church officials declined to comment about the damages.
