Tenants are pleading for help after they claim their landlord has failed to remove a foul odor from their building.
Neighbors living on Evergreen Avenue in Bushwick say a man died inside an apartment and the scene has not been cleaned.
Police say the man living there died of natural causes. The body is gone, but residents say body fluids and feces still remain inside the apartment.
Residents say they have contacted the landlord but have not heard from him. Tenants scrubbed the building on Sunday and added candles in the hallway, but say the smell still lingers.
News 12 reached out to the building's management and has yet to receive a response.
