The Garden State issued its first "Code Blue" warnings of the season with freeze watches throughout New Jersey overnight.
The alert prompts local authorities to make shelter or warming centers available for homeless or unsheltered individuals.
Many counties will be done with the alert Tuesday morning, with some only lasting through 7 or 9 a.m.
Sussex County will be under a “Code Blue” all week. Officials in Morris and Ocean counties are reportedly already planning for another tomorrow.
