Innovators attend 'Make it in Brooklyn' summit

The inaugural "Make it in Brooklyn" summit was held in Downtown Brooklyn Thursday, with roughly 300 of the borough's most successful leading innovators sharing their stories in hope of encouraging others.

The inaugural "Make it in Brooklyn" summit was held in Downtown Brooklyn Thursday, with roughly 300 of the borough's most successful leading innovators sharing their stories in hope of encouraging others.
Speakers addressed a variety of topics about how to continue efforts to make Brooklyn an international center for commerce and culture.
The event was organized by the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership.
Attendees also had the opportunity for one-on-one interaction with industry leaders and startup companies pitched their ideas with the best one receiving $50,000 in seed funding.
