The fate of Daniel St. Hubert lays in the hands of a jury.
St. Hubert is accused of stabbing a 6-year-old boy to death and injuring another child in the elevator of East New York's Boulevard Houses back in June 2014. Investigators says that he pulled out a knife and started to stab both kids.
The judge told the jurors that their sole responsibility was to review weigh and consider the evidence or lack of evidence presented from the prosecution and the defense.
They are deliberating on three charges, including the murder of Prince Joshua Avitto, attempted murder of Mikayla Capers and assault.
The jury requested to see the medical records and evidence related to the trial.
Deliberations will continue Tuesday.
