A Bensonhurst landlord is expected to face jail time stemming from a deadly fire back in 2010.
The Kings County District Attorney's Office says Vasilios Gerazounis pleaded guilty to negligent homicide, and faces between one and three years in prison when he's sentenced in February.
The New York Times reports that Gerazounis' real estate company will also pay $1 million in restitution in connection with the fire.
According to prosecutors, five tenants died after becoming trapped due to illegal partitions in their 86th Street apartment building.
Daniel Ignacio, a guest of one of the tenants, was already convicted for setting the blaze.
