Police are looking for a man they say stole jewelry from victims and escaped on a motorized scooter.
The first incident happened in July at 10:15 a.m. A 44-year-old woman was standing on Metcalf Avenue when the man approached her from behind and took her necklace from her neck. Then, he threatened her before the woman gave him another piece of jewelry.
The second incident happened in August inside of a building on Noble Avenue. A 74-year-old woman was waiting for the elevator when the man approached her from behind, threatened her and took her necklace.
In both incidents, he escaped on a motorized scooter.
