A New York-based artist couple is offering Bronx families a free painting in exchange for an invitation to have dinner at their home.
Alina and Jeff Bliumis say they're doing the exchange as a way to experience different cultures. A recent dinner had the couple visiting a Garifuna household in Castle Hill.
At the end of each dinner, the participants take a photo with their new painting. The pictures will be on display at the Bronx Museum of the Arts through June 4.
