Norwalk police held its annual Norwalk Night Out on Tuesday.

Locals gathered outside the city police department to join law enforcement officers for a fun night of activities, music and food.

The family-friendly night-out serves as a way for police to connect with members of the community.

"Five stars across the board that we can actually do this and draw such a great crowd of various ages, different neighborhoods, and so it’s a great mix of a lot of people," said Sgt. Sofia Gulino.
