NYPD: 3 men in their 20s injured in University Heights shooting

Police on scene told News 12 a group of men in their mid to late 20s got into a heated argument around 5:30 p.m. outside on Andrews Avenue.

NYPD detectives say three men were injured after an argument resulted in a shooting Saturday evening in University Heights.
Police on scene told News 12 a group of men in their mid to late 20s got into a heated argument around 5:30 p.m. outside on Andrews Avenue.
The argument escalated and gun shots rang out, according to authorities.
Police on scene said they counted 29 shell casings from different firearms.
Police say two men were taken to the hospital with multiple gun shot wounds: A 26-year-old man with shots in his back, and a 25-year-old man with shots in his torso.
Police add the third victim walked himself into the hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.
Police say they have one person in custody for questioning. It was not immediately clear as of Saturday night if any suspects had been charged.
