Police say a 3-year-old boy was found dead late Sunday night in an apartment building in East Flatbush.

According to the NYPD, officers responded to a 911 call to a building on New York Avenue just before 10 p.m. The boy was found unresponsive and unconscious. He was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead.

It's unclear how the boy died. Police confirm they are questioning a person-of-interest in the case.

No arrests have been made at this time.
