A man is recovering in a hospital following a shooting involving four other suspects in East New York, according to police.

Authorities say the shooting took place near the intersection of New Lots and Schneck avenues at around 9 p.m.

The 44-year-old male victim was shot in the groin and taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The NYPD says four men are wanted in connection to the shooting as they continue to investigate.
