NYPD holds funeral service for twin boys found beaten to death outside Bronx apartment

The twin boys were abandoned with no known family and the NYPD are treating them as their own.

Twin infants found beaten to death outside of a Bronx apartment were laid to rest by the 44th Precinct on Saturday.
The twin boys were abandoned with no known family and the NYPD are treating them as their own.
The service was held at Eternity Funeral Home and around two dozen NYPD officers and investigators attended.
The boys were laid to rest in a shared coffin and buried at Hawthorne Cemetery.
Officers had named the infants Zeke and Zane, Zeke shortened for Ezekiel meaning God’s strength and Zane, which means God’s gift.
The cases goes back to Nov. 2020 when the newborn twins were found outside of an apartment building on College Avenue.
Investigators say the case is still open and they have no leads.
They are urging anyone with information to come forward and help bring Zane and Zeke justice. Those with information can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
The NYPD is offering a $10,000 reward.
