The Pakistani community in Coney Island joined together in solidarity after the terrorist attack on school children this past week in Peshawar.
Many Pakistani-owned businesses along Coney Island Avenue shut their doors for one hour to honor those 148 people, many of them children, who were killed in the attack.
Others attended prayer services at the mosque nearby to pray for the children who died.
Many members of the Pakistani community who spoke with News 12 say they want the U.S. government to intervene to stop terrorists in their home country.
