Police say three people were injured when an SUV jumped the sidewalk in Longwood and slammed into a check-cashing business.
According to police, the crash happened after a woman driving the SUV swerved to avoid hitting a pedestrian Sunday afternoon. The crash at the intersection of Southern Boulevard and Longwood Avenue also blocked access to the 6 train.
Bronx residents who use the 6 train were told to access the Longwood station across the street from the accident.
