Police: Woman hit by car in Williamsburg

The driver was backing up into a parking spot when the 87-year-old woman was struck. She was taken to a local hospital where she remains in critical condition.

Police say an elderly woman was hit by a car in Williamsburg on Monday.
It happened on Leonard Street around 4 p.m.
The driver was backing up into a parking spot when the 87-year-old woman was struck. She was taken to a local hospital where she remains in critical condition.
Investigators acknowledged the driver did remain on the scene. No arrests have been made.
